The ministry began on the 24th December, 2006 with nine people at 1b Segun Akinyemi Close, Opposite Celestial Church of Christ, Akinde Estate, Ajegunle. Once a week discipleship programme tagged "WORD BANQUET HOUR" held on Sundays, from 5pm-6pm. On the 1st of June, 2008, Living Epistles Family Church formally commenced 1st Sunday service at The Pinnacle Schools, Akinde.

As the church name implies, Living Epistles means letter from Christ written to humanity by the Spirit of God. Hence we are Christ Ambassadors, specimen, role models, paradigms etc. (2Cor 3:3, Tit2:7). We are mandated to show forth the praises of God by showcasing the nature and character of Christ with our lifestyle.

Mission statement: To enhance the productivity of total man through The Word which produces inner-working with outside expression, hence energizing our God-given potentials for impact without limit.
